The 77th Annual Mooresville Christmas Parade will be held on Tuesday November 23, 2021 at 3:00pm along Main Street in Downtown Mooresville. Presented by Greenworks, this year’s edition of the parade will have a special grand entrance with plenty of flashing lights and sirens, as area First Responders kick off the festive event at 3:00pm! The rest of the procession will follow at around 3:30pm, featuring fantastic floats, marching bands, dance and tumbling troupes, all kinds of vintage and modern modes of transport including the POW-MIA Freedom Car driven by Mooresville’s own Jerick Johnson, an appearance by the Grinch, and of course… SANTA!

The Mooresville Christmas Parade travels south down Main Street, beginning at Statesville Avenue and ending just past Wilson Avenue near Merino’s Mill. The parade can be viewed from any point in between. Bring your chairs and blankets! A crowd of 5,000-7,000 is expected so definitely head over early to beat the crowds.
The Annual Mooresville Christmas Parade has been a tradition since 1944; event is held annually on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Come out and join us for loads of holiday entertainment in the heart of Mooresville, NC! Please note, there is no rain date for the parade, due to the street closing parameters set by NCDOT.
