Jerick Johnson wins the 70th Annual Race of Champions Late Model Series for the second year in a row.

One year after upsetting the past back-to-back winner, Fallone, in 2019, Johnson would do it again at the Rick Wylie Classic 48 Lap Event contested at Lake Erie Speedway in Erie Penn., on September 27, 2020. The victory would not come easy.

The freedom car overcame some early obstacles by completely overhauling the car set up because, the team was not satisfied with the performance of the car.  Those changes were key in allowing us to maneuver through the field during the feature race, and in the end, we were able to for a second year in a row repeat as champions.
